The BTA06-600CWRG from STMicroelectronics is a 600V TRIAC alternistor designed for reliable AC switching and phase control applications. Housed in a TO-220AB through-hole package, this device is ideal for medium power control in lighting, heating, motor speed control, and general-purpose AC load switching.

With a 600V rated repetitive off-state voltage (VDRM) and 63A non-repetitive surge current capability, the BTA06 series delivers strong performance and durability in demanding electrical environments. Its low gate trigger current (35mA) and gate trigger voltage (1.3V) allow for efficient control from logic circuits and microcontroller-based systems.

Designed to operate across a wide temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, this TRIAC ensures stable and consistent performance in both commercial and industrial applications. The low off-state leakage current (5µA) and on-state voltage of 1.55V help maintain efficiency and minimise power losses.
